~ Youth Football Camp ~ Riverside, Ca~
Air Craft Passing Camp

About the Camp

The Living Breath Foundation hosted the Air Craft Youth Passing Camp at Riverside Community College June 16-19, 2010. Longtime Junior College football coach Chris Pappas was the camp director and current Riverside Community College Football coach Tom Craft served as head coach of the camp. Tom assembled an outstanding staff of 15 Junior College coaches from the Inland Empire. All the coaches donated their time for this camp and Riverside Community College showed its support by donating its football facilities free of charge to the foundation. The Living Breath Foundation was successful in raising funds for its many programs, which helped insure a return to Riverside next summer, making this an annual event.

The purpose of the camp was not only to teach football skills to 100 youth (ages 12-18), but also to educate and create awareness about Cystic Fibrosis. While learning passing and receiving skills each day, the campers were given information about Cystic Fibrosis. By the end of the camp we had educated the group on a disease that most had never heard of. They were asked to share the information with their family and friends.
