About the Event

In September of 2012 The Living Breath Foundation partnered with Friends Cure CF, of Santa Cruz at their annual “Surfs Up “ event. It was a causal Hawaiian themed evening with a wonderful silent and live auction accompanied with a delicious Steak & Lobster dinner. It was held at the Sea Cliff Inn in Aptos.

Friends Cure CF started 14 years ago, with a 4th of July barbecue fundraiser hosted by the Friends & Family of Gianna Rose Altano, as a way of raising money for Cystic Fibrosis Research.

They decided to partner with The Living Breath Foundation this year, because they liked the fact that these funds would immediately impact the critical needs of the CF patients and families.

Their event this year was SOLD OUT with their highest profits to date. The LBF is the beneficiary of their proceeds. They have a wonderful group of volunteers to work with. We are thankful to have them team up with the LBF.
